Accessibility Conformance Report (ACR)

Evaluation Methods Used

iLabz accessibility was evaluated through internal review of platform functionality, including:

  • Keyboard navigation testing

  • Manual review of core user flows (login, registration, simulations)

  • Review of video accessibility features

Applicable Standards

This report is based on alignment with:

  • WCAG 2.1 Level AA

  • Section 508

Summary of Accessibility Features

1. Video Content

Conformance Level: Supports

All video content within iLabz includes closed captions that users can enable. Caption availability is consistent across the platform, and ongoing efforts are in place to improve caption accuracy.

2. Keyboard Accessibility

Conformance Level: Partially Supports

Core navigation and authentication flows (such as login) support keyboard interaction. However, some areas of the platform, including portions of interactive simulations and certain registration flows, are not fully operable via keyboard. Improvements are currently in progress.

3. Forms and Inputs

Conformance Level: Partially Supports

Login and payment-related forms are accessible via keyboard navigation and standard input methods. Some registration workflows currently have limited keyboard accessibility and are being updated to improve usability.

4. Interactive Simulations

Conformance Level: Partially Supports

Interactive simulations include complex visual and dynamic elements that are not fully compatible with screen readers or keyboard-only navigation.

iLabz is actively working to improve accessibility through:

  • increased keyboard support

  • improved semantic structure

  • use of accessibility attributes

Alternative methods for accessing core learning content can be provided upon request.

5. Visual Design and Readability

Conformance Level: Partially Supports

Text and interface elements are generally readable; however, some font sizes may fall below recommended accessibility thresholds. Ongoing design improvements are planned to enhance readability and accessibility.

6. Screen Reader Compatibility

Conformance Level: Partially Supports

Basic page structure supports assistive technologies in some areas of the platform. Full screen reader compatibility, particularly within interactive simulations, is still in development.

Ongoing Accessibility Efforts

iLabz is committed to improving accessibility and aligning more closely with WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards. Current and planned improvements include:

  • Enhancing keyboard navigation across all platform areas

  • Improving form accessibility, particularly in registration workflows

  • Increasing use of semantic HTML and accessibility attributes

  • Exploring accessible alternatives for complex simulation content

Additional Accessibility Support

iLabz is able to work with institutions to provide alternative access to content where needed. Institutions or users requiring specific accommodations are encouraged to contact us directly.
